Bridge course books prepared by NCERT for CBSE class-6 students

  1. The secentral Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools are going to introduce new textbooks for Class-3 and Class-6 from the new academic year, but before these books come out, a bridge course book has been prepared for Class-6 students. NCERT has prepared a bridge course book, the link of this book has been sent to all the schools by the board and the students have been instructed to prepare based on it.At present bridge course books have been prepared for about 10 subjects. Apart from this, a two-week foundation course has also been organized for the students of class-III.

    CBSE has released a circular under the new education policy. In which information has been given about bridge course for class-6 and foundation course for class-3 under the new education policy. A link has been provided by CBSE regarding the bridge course of class-6 prepared by NCERT. From where students, teachers and parents can download a copy of the book. Thus, now when the new syllabus is going to be implemented in class-6, students will be able to study and progress according to the new syllabus with the help of the bridge course book.Books are being prepared by NCERT regarding the new syllabus of class-3 and class-6. In which books like Hindi, English, Urdu, Mathematics, Art Education, Physical Education and the world around us have been finalized in class-3 books. A two-week foundation course for class-III students and a bridge course for class-VI students have been prepared. The board has also sent a link about the books related to the bridge course. From where you can download bridge course books of up to 10 subjects. Updates have also been made to inform schools about these books.It is to be noted that, from the academic year 2024-25, new text books will be implemented by the CBSE Board for Class-3 and Class-6. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) informed CBSE through a letter dated March 18, 2024, that the new syllabus and textbooks for Grades 3 and 6 are currently being prepared. So schools will now have to make students study based on the new syllabus and textbooks for class-3 and 6 instead of the old textbooks published by NCERT from the academic year 2024. The new academic year has started from April 1, 2024 in CBSE schools across the country. In which new text books will be implemented in class-3 and class-6. But apart from that no change has been made in the syllabus and text book for all other classes.
